I have played in  wedding ceremonies in several different ways. The option that you choose will always be correct, because it is the one that you want.

Before the ceremony -Use the bagpipes to  announce the coming marriage ceremony by  playing
                                  as  guests enter the wedding area..

Part of the ceremony -Pipe  the Bride and her entourage down the aisle.

After the ceremony - Piping the Bride and Groom out at the completion of the ceremony is another
                                   opportunity for utilizing bagpipes.   Optionally, the pipes can play as the bridal
                                   party exits.

At the Reception - The bagpipes may announce the arrival of the Bride and Groom and lead them
                                  into the reception area.  can then play a short  medley of happy, upbeat tunes to
                                  salute the happy couple.

Other - The four options shown are only a few of the many ways to incorporate bagpipes into your wedding.  You may have a completely different idea.
