I have played wedding ceremonies in several different ways. The option that you choose will always be correct, because it is the one that you want.

Before the ceremony -Use the bagpipes to announce the coming marriage ceremony by  playing
                                  as guests enter the wedding area..

Part of the ceremony -Pipe the Bride and her entourage down the aisle.

After the ceremony - Piping the Bride and Groom out at the completion of the ceremony is another
                                   opportunity for utilizing bagpipes.   Optionally, the pipes can play as the bridal
                                   party exits.

At the Reception - The bagpipes may lead the wedding couple into the reception area and announce their arrival.  A short  medley of happy,
                                upbeat tunes  may be played to salute the happy couple or the pipes may just fade away as the piper leaves.        

Other - The four options shown are only a few of the many ways to incorporate bagpipes into your wedding.  You may have a completely different idea.
